TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Booking, payment and cancellation Policy
Booking
Prior to acceptance of any first booking a face-to-face meeting with owner and pet will be required. This meeting will be arranged at a mutual convenient time.
A copy of the pet registration document clearly displaying chip number together with a copy of the vaccination record together with your contact details will be required as well as details of an alternative contact should you be out of reach
The above will not be necessary for any subsequent bookings unless there have been changes to the documents and contact details initially submitted.
Please Note:
We cannot accept any breed of dog listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976. 
We are also unable to accept dogs that are aggressive, destructive, unruly, a bitch in season at the time of boarding or a dog known to have behavioural problems. 
Please be honest and open about any concerns you might have regarding your dog’s behaviour. Failure to disclose could put your dog, other dogs and people at serious risk.
You will be responsible for all costs including, but not limited to, medical care, legal fees, and any other costs directly incurred as a result of your dog attacking, biting or injuring another animal or person.

Should your dog show aggressive tendencies to people or other dogs, or behave in an unreasonable manner considered to be beyond acceptance, you or your emergency contact will be informed and immediate collection requested. While waiting yours or your contact’s arrival, we reserve the right to isolate your dog. Please note that under these circumstances no refund of payment made will be granted.

You are required to provide sufficient food for the duration of your dog’s stay, any toys, bedding or material that has your scent on that will help comfort your dog during stay. 
If insufficient food is provided we will aim to source additional food of the same type or similar for which you agree to reimburse the costs.

You are also required to provide a collar/harness and lead and identification tag. In addition you will agree to. In addition to your own tag, to attach our own ID tag showing Muddy Paws Boarding contact details.

You are encouraged to bring your dog’s bed, blankets, food bowls and toys and any other familiar belongings which will make them feel comfortable, however we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss of these items.

PAYMENT
Full payment by bank transfer is required at the time of booking for stays of 5 days or less, or stays starting within 30 days of the booking date. Stays commencing 30 days after the booking date a deposit of 50% will be required by bank transfer at the time of booking with the 50% balance to be paid within a minimum of 7 days prior to the arrival date.
Bookings will not be confirmed until payment as described above, whichever is applicable, has been received. Number of placements is restricted so we cannot keep booking dates open for longer than 24 hours from booking request unless full payment or deposit is received.
Dog Walking and Day Care will be invoiced at the end of month and payable by bank transfer upon receipt of invoice.

CANCELLATION 

Notice of cancellation must be provided in writing via email. 
A full refund of any payment made will be given if such cancellation is made within 14 days prior to arrival. 
A refund of 50% will be given if the notice of cancellation is not given within 14 days prior to arrival.
Should you wish to collect your dog before the agreed end date no partial refund will be granted.

If, due to unforeseen circumstances Muddy Paws are unable to provide the agreed service we shall promptly inform you and a full refund will be granted.

HEALTH AND MEDICATIONS
All dogs must be in good general health and show no signs of contagious illness on arrival and their vaccinations up to date. Any new vaccinations must have been given at least 4 weeks prior to the boarding arrival date. They must be on regular de-worming, tick and flea treatments. Should these treatments be due while boarding, please let us know due dates and supply us with your regular treatments.

You will be required to sign a Consent Form to allow your dog to receive first aid assistance including emergency CPR and administer any prescribed medication should your dog fall ill while in our care. Should your dog fall ill while in our care we shall promptly inform you and will endeavour to seek assistance from your usual Veterinary Surgery. However, depending on circumstances, we may opt for the nearest Veterinary Surgery. Any medications will be administered strictly as directed but we cannot be held responsible for any complications that may arise as a result. 
You will agree to reimburse all veterinary fees incurred to Muddy Paws on the day you collect your dog at the end of the stay.
 
INSURANCE AND LICENSE
Insurance
Our Public Liability insurance is with Pet Business Insurance and details of the policy can be seen on request. 
We recommend that your dog has its own insurance for sickness, accident or injury and for third party liability prior to boarding. 
License
We have been granted license for home dog boarding by West Oxfordshire District Council and a copy can be seen on request and it is also displayed on the premises.

We are DBS checked and the certificate can be seen on request.
 
 
PHOTOGRAPHY

In order to receive regular updates on your dog stay you will agree to your dog being photographed or videoed. Ownership and copyright of the photos and videos remain the property of Muddy Paws and may be used on our website, in marketing materials or shared on our social media. Should you wish for your dog’s photo/video not to be used in both or either of these ways please inform us prior stay.
 
 
PRIVACY POLICY 
General
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), enforced from May 25th, 2018, aims to protect the fundamental right to privacy and the protection of personal data of European Union (EU) citizens. We take your right to privacy seriously and our policy is to offer full transparency on how we collect, store and use your personal information.
 
All the information you share about you and your dog on the Registration Form is not only a legal condition of the boarding license, but also essential to provide the best care of your dog. 
All information provided will be kept private and confidential.
 
Website
We will receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website through ‘Contact Us’ web form or through email enquiry or phone call. This includes personal details such as your name, email address, phone number and enquiry messages.
This information will be used to reply to your enquiry and stored on our client database for future communications and to comply with any applicable laws and regulations e.g. any changes to your personal information, updates to your dog’s vaccination record etc.
If you don’t want us to process or store your data anymore, or if you would like to access, correct, amend or delete any personal information we have about you please contact us at muddypawswitney@gmail.com.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently.
